Electrical Installer Course | Provisions

In accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 842/2002, of August 2, which approves the Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulations and its Complementary Technical Instruction ITC-BT-03, low-voltage electrical installations must be carried out, maintained, or repaired by low-voltage installers, who must perform their activities within an authorized low-voltage installation company.

The current Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulations classify low-voltage installers into two categories in ITC-BT-03:

Basic, with responsibilities limited to those indicated in section 3.1 of the aforementioned ITC.
Specialist, which extends its scope of responsibilities to the entire Regulation.

MF2344_2: Indoor lighting fixtures, radiant devices, and equipment dedicated to improving the quality and energy efficiency of low-voltage electrical installations (120 hours)
